Exchange/Return Policy


Please be sure to take proper measurements of your dog to find the best fit. Although some of our products are adjustable, starting with the proper measurements is a must. Back length is the most important measurement for coats, and chest girth is most important for harnesses.


Exchanges are handled as separate transactions. Please place a new order for the desired item, then follow the return process below. Your return will be credited to your credit card once we receive it.

Hurtta America will gladly accept returns of items in new, re-sellable condition within 14 days from the delivery date. This means that you can familiarize yourself with the product at home / try the product, if necessary, as you would normally do in a shop. If the product does not fit or meet your expectations, you are entitled to return the product within 14 days of receiving your order. We recommend carefully trying on your new Hurtta products indoors, keeping the packaging intact.


Returns must meet the following criteria:  

* Item is free of dirt, hair, odor, and is in re-sellable condition

* Item has not been used, altered, washed or damaged, chewed or abused and must be in original packaging (including carton inlay)

* Item is being returned within 14 days of delivery date. 

* Item was purchased from

Items that do not meet these criteria will not be considered for return. Items purchased on Last Chance are final and not eligible for return or warranty.

  • Customer is responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend selecting a shipping method that includes a tracking number.

  • Include a brief explanation of your return and clearly write your RA# on the outside of the package.

  • We will notify you by email when your return has been processed. Please allow up to 2 billing cycles for the credit to appear on your credit card statement. 

  • Please note that shipping charges are not refundable

  • Warranty: Hurtta guarantees against material defects and workmanship for one year from time of purchase. This warranty covers defect of workmanship and materials, but does not cover damage caused by chewing, abuse, accident, improper care, negligence, normal wear and tear, or the natural breakdown of colors and material through time, exposure or extensive use. Note! Items purchased on Sale are final and not covered by warranty.
